I went to A1 Committed Autocare & Sales for a pre-purchase inspection. Overall, I had a good experience. Their pricing was fair, and I appreciated that the manager rechecked the car and provided the written inspection report at no extra charge. The first time I went, the manager was not there, so the staff checked the car and said everything looked perfect, but they could not give me a written report. A few days later, I came back when the manager was there, and he checked the car again for free. He found something that was included in the report, which I really appreciated. My advice is to make sure the manager is available before starting the inspection, especially if you need a written report. That way, you can be confident the inspection is done properly and you receive the full report. Overall, I appreciate their service and fair pricing.

Solid people, little disappointed. Spent about $500 on repairs, but shop left my car unlocked overnight and was broken into. Some of my belongings were stolen. Malpractice. edit: Hi, in response to the manager. I’m not sure what you’re trying to portray, as if it was just minor theft. Everything in my console was gone. All cards were stolen, business, gift cards, even unpplicable IDs. My backpack was gone. Yes, my candies were stolen AS WELL. My chargers were gone. The only thing left in my car were the belongings of the man who broke into my car. One of your employees made me aware of the situation, so the break-in was made known. I did not want to convey the nature of the situation as you are a local business and all things are replaceable, but you’re speaking to me condescendingly, as if it was nothing.

Michael and his team have been great. I have been coming here for years, but they most recently took on a huge job for my mini Cooper and have worked with me from the beginning and have done nothing but provide excellent customer service understanding and information. They are the most patient and outstanding people I have ever met. If you take your car anywhere you are making a mistake. They give you fair prices, and I have never had an issue with anything they have ever fixed. My vehicles have always ran better when I leave here . I will forever recommend this shop

Let me just say if you are looking for a mechanic in the Arlington area, look no further. You have found the place!! I was buying a car from out of state and needed a pre purchase inspection. I had called another mechanic who did not seem very thorough. Boy am I glad I called these guys instead. Let me just say Craig is the man. He immediately starting going into detail about everything he inspects. He told me he checks for flooding, signs that it's ever been in an accident, and he checks the computer. If these 3 don't pass he won't go threw with the rest of the inspection and will not charge you. I think that alone was unbelievable and shows how good and honest these guys are! Well my car passed and came up with just some very minor issues. He was very thorough and explained everything in detail. He made it so much easier to be assured i was getting a solid car. So fast forward about a week. I ended up flying down to texas and buying the car. Right after getting the car i called him up. Simply the best. We took our car here recently as we had just purchased it and there were some things going on. I wish I’d known about these guys and their pre purchase inspection beforehand but they informed me that the car that was sold to us by the used car dealer was actually very dangerous to drive (and also illegal in the state of Texas to sell to us in that condition). We were given a list of things wrong with the car and they offered to be witnesses if we decide to take the dealer to court as I could have been killed in this car it was so bad. We probably won’t do that but we are definitely going to talk to them to see if they’ll do anything for us. The dealer is definitely breaking the law but A1 came to the rescue and gave us a great price for the amount of work needed and turned it around so fast! She rides much better now and even though she’s not perfect yet and there’s more work to be done they were honest about how long we could go without doing the next step and what the next thing we should do would be. It’s so hard to find a good honest shop out there, especially as a woman I tend to get “taken for a ride” quite often and it’s so disheartening. I will recommend
